1000 mph Car Design Finalised

A UK team is attempting a 1000 mph land speed record in a hybrid car (tenuous eco link). However, this is no ordinary hybrid. Bloodhound as it is known, has a V12 engine, a Eurofighter EJ2000 jet engine and a 400kg hybrid rocket engine to give it the power required to reach the 1000 mph. [...]
